Increased Fees 2024

Both The University of Africa and Africa Research University take pride in maintaining affordable fees and fair payment requirements for their students. However, due to increased input costs, fees have been adjusted effective August 1, 2024, as detailed in the attached schedule. According to the Universities’ Protocols [clause 5.4], "As long as payments are made as per the 'payment requirements,' no increase in fees will be applicable." This means that: 1. Students who have consistently made their monthly instalments and are up to date with their payments will continue to pay the current fees unless they default on their instalments for three consecutive months, after which they will be moved to the new fee structure for future semesters. 2. Students who are currently in arrears have been granted a grace period from August 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024, to make regular payments and update their accounts, or they risk being moved to the new fee structure for future semesters. 3. Students who have been inactive both academically and financially for the past three months will be immediately migrated to the new fee structure. 4. Accepted applicants who are still within the 30-day study commencement period as of August 1, 2024, will be allowed to pay the current fees for the first semester only. Thereafter they will be migrated to the updated fee structure which became applicable from 1 August 2024. 5. All new students accepted and enrolled on August 1, 2024, will be subject to the new fees. Note: Previous scholarship arrangements remain unchanged unless the student defaults on their payments.
